The comprehensive leadership and community awareness program offers an in-depth understanding of the dynamics at work in Forsyth County, one of the fastest growing communities in the United States. Participants will explore issues that are creating successes and challenges for Forsyth County/Cumming and discover opportunities for hands-on involvement in key areas of interest. They will also get to know today’s leaders as well as tomorrow’s emerging leadership through a combination of classroom presentations, informal group discussions and site tours.

Each Leadership Forsyth Class will consist of a diverse range of corporate executives, organization managers, and professionals in the arts, business, education, religious and human service sectors plus more. Through a partnership with the University of North Georgia, Leadership Forsyth offers master level development workshops focused on leadership topics as a part of the class days as well as the class retreat held in September. Upon graduation of the program each participant will earn two professional learning units (PLU) or continuing education units (CEU) that can be used for various professional certifications.
